?nbsp; that this time he is hoping to get a governor’s signature that will stick?

?nbsp; that the Board of Immigration Appeals recently ruled that unauthorized use of a motor vehicle is a crime of violence and thus is an aggravated felony, rendering an individual removable and ineligible for waiver if convicted?

?nbsp; that males under the age of 26 applying for immigration benefits still have to register for Selective Service?

?nbsp; that there is no special notification given advising of this requirement?

?nbsp; that right above the signature line of the application for adjustment of status (Form I-485), there is language about Selective Service?

?nbsp; that if a marriage happens while an applicant is in removal proceedings, the couple will need to be interviewed to verify that the marriage was entered in good faith?

?nbsp; that the opportunity to be interviewed will save the individual and allow the case to later close without the need to re-open it (complicated? - yes - this is immigration red tape that works in your favor)?

?nbsp; that there is an extension of the deadline for filing applications pursuant to CSS and Lulac (Newman) settlement agreement until December 31, 2005?
?nbsp; that the CSS and Lulac (Newman) settlements allow for those who meet certain requirements to apply or re-apply for temporary resident status under the 1986 amnesty program of Section 245A of the Immigration and Nationality Act?
